Online rumors are saying that Britney Spears is close to singing a deal to appear as a judge on the new season of The X Factor and will make $15 million for the season. Read all about it below but take this with a HUGE grain of salt:
The judge handling Britney Spears’ consvervatorship wanted to meet with the singer to discuss her accepting a job with Simon Cowell’s X Factor, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. As previously reported, Spears was in court Thursday with her dad Jamie Spears, and fiancé, Jason Trawick. Brit’s conservators needed to get approval from the court for her to become a judge on the hit talent show. “Britney’s team is almost ready to sign the contract for her to become a judge on X Factor. Before the contract is signed, the lawyers needed to get approval from Judge Reva Goetz, as all business transactions, contracts, etc., need to get formal approval,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Judge Goetz wanted to talk to Britney in person to make sure this is something that she wanted to do, and that she was capable of doing. The judge was extremely impressed and Britney is very, very excited to become a part of Simon Cowell’s show. The judge signed off on the deal. “Under terms of the contract, Britney will be paid around $15 million a year. She will travel out of state for auditions, as long as it doesn’t interfere with her custodial time with her sons. The boys will be allowed to come to the set whenever Britney wants them there. Her sons are her number one priority. Jason has been heavily involved in the contract talks,” the insider says. A formal announcement about Spears joining the show will be made in the next two weeks.
Interesting…Keep in mind that this is a RUMOR and has in no way been corroborated by Britney Spears or anyone from The X Factor…but it still could be true.
