Oscar winner Charlize Theron has adopted a baby.
The Young Adult star is a first-time mother after taking in a “healthy baby boy”, named Jackson.
A representative for the actress has confirmed the news. The 36-year-old South African-born actress will begin parenting as a single mom – her nine year relationship with actor Stuart Townsend ended in January, 2010.
