The whole world has known that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were together for years now. Not because they play the romantic leads in a ridiculously popular movie franchise, not even because of the few paparazzi shots showing them looking more than friendly. The most obvious pointer that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are together is that they won’t talk about whether or not they are together.
Kristen Stewart is on the cover of this month’s British GQ and accidentally let it slip that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are, in fact dating. Stewart was asked during a photo shoot for the magazine if she’d be seeing more of the UK while she was there filming Snow White and the Huntsman and she replied yes, because, “my boyfriend is British.”
And all over the world, pre-teen girls (and gay boys) with Robert Pattinson posters on their walls raised their fists to the heavens and started to scream.
Stewart didn’t realize that the perosn she’d been talking to was actually a reporter for the magazine and when she was interviewed the next day she admitted, “I never would have said that if I knew you were interviewing me.”
With the cat out of the bag about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson being a couple, the star opened up a bit more about the relationship and how clear it is that the two are dating, saying, “So much of my life is so easily Googled. I mean, it’s like, ‘Come on guys, it is so obvious!’” Right you are, KStew.
kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson kept their relationship a secret because of the huge stake fans have in the couple. Stewart says, “I don’t think you realise what a big deal it is for people. Well, it is a big deal. They would be ‘Oh. My. God…’”
Stewart also explains that as a star who has every part of her life dissected by the media, she wanted to keep something so personal for herself. She adds, “I’m selfish. I’m like, ‘That’s mine!’ And I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way. It’s a funny little game to play and it’s a slippery slope. I always say to myself I’m never going to give anything away because there’s never any point or benefit for me.”
