Lady Gaga was left dazed during a show in New Zealand this weekend when one of her own dancers accidentally hit her on the head with a pole. The singer suffered a concussion but refused to stop the Born This Way Ball show in Auckland.
According to Lady Gaga fan site Gagamedia.net, the “Alejandro” singer continued with the performance for another 16 songs before telling fans, “I want to apologize. I hit my head and I think I may have a concussion but don’t you worry I will finish this show.”
16 songs after being hit on the head and concussed? Lady Gaga really takes the saying “the show must go on” seriously.
Gaga’s make-up artist later tweeted to assure fans the star would be OK, writing, “Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants u to know she loves u. I’m taking care of her. cant believe she finished the show.”
