Nick Jonas has played down rumors that he’s started dating Smash star Megan Hilty after playing her lover interest on the hit NBC musical drama.
Rumors ran rampant that the pair’s on-screen chemistry had bled into real life when they were spotted having dinner together in New York last month, but Jonas has now assured his fans that he is still single and that he and Hilty are “just friends”.
Nick Jonas tells EOnline.com, “We are just friends. And I’m enjoying being a single man here in New York, because my work is my priority these days.”
Jonas ended his 10-month relationship with Australian singer Delta Goodrem in February.
