This has got to be the stupidest thing to happen recently. It was just announced that in People magazine’s Sexiest men issue Bradley Cooper was named Sexiest Man Alive. But there are some very pissed off Ryan Gosling fans who think that the Drive star was robbed and are now protesting outside of the People office in New York City.
These protesters are calling their movement “Occupy Sexy”. Ryan Gosling fans are showing up in the ones and twos to stand outside of the People offices holding up signs with slogans like “Not MY people” and “Ryan was robbed”. OK, so some of these people may not be actually doing this as a serious protest but it’s still pretty fucking dumb. Why not go down to Wall Street and protest something worth protesting.
Yes, I will agree that Ryan Gosling is WAAAAAAAAY sexier than Bradley Cooper, but it’s a stupid magazine poll. And People even justified their selection. People‘s executive editor, Liz Sporkin, said in a statement, “We stand by our man! Bradley Cooper is the whole package. He’s gorgeous, talented, brainy, loves his mom, can cook up a storm and speaks fluent French! Who can argue with that?”
Well, the Ryan Gosling fans can.
