30 Rock star Tracy Morgan hospitalized in Utah after the actor fainted during an awards ceremony at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday. The actor/comedian was honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards in Park City, Utah and reportedly fell unconscious outside the venue after giving his acceptance speech, according to TMZ.
An ambulance took the star to a nearby hospital for treatment and he was joined by his fiancee Megan Wollover. The actor’s representative Lewis Kay says that Tracy Morgan hospitalized due to exhaustion and altitude sickness and dismissed reports which suggested the star had been drinking.
Kay says, “From a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention… He is with his fiance and grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care. Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100 per cent false.”
